It seems like if the Flyers keep # 17, there could be anyone of about 20 players to target.

How likely do you think we'll keep it?

That's about it. It's a wide-open draft with very little difference outside of maybe the top 10.

Zero, when we trade it along with Couturier and Schenn for Phaneuf. Duh!

Bill what do you believe about Laughton's chance to make the team out of camp? Also I'm of the belief that none of the defensive prospects will be anywhere but the Ahl this season would you agree with that assessment ?

I don't think Hextall wants to be tarred and feathered at his first draft.

But but but...JoeyRussalini just told me our best course of action was trading the NHL's best penalty killer, a good prospect, and our pick for Phaneuf.

I don't know about everyone else but I have actually liked most of the rumors that the flyers are in. I am ok with building better depth on the fourth line with a guy like Boyle. Maybe they look at Kamorov. With the Bellemore signing as can see where Rinaldo could become a 13th forward on this team. I would be ok with a fourth line of say Boyle/Kamorov - Laughton - Bellemore/Raffl.

I don't know about the second part. Depending on trades/UFA, it's conceivable that Alt or Lauridsen could get on the opening night roster. But Ghost/Hagg will most likely start in the AHL. Morin may get his 9-game tryout, but is heading back to the QMJHL for one more year.

I would consider trading for phaneuf if vinny was part of the deal and then maybe 2nd rounder or such. Good dman but over paid and I wouldnt trade too many assests for him.

If they sign Brian "Turtle" Boyle, I will become unbearable to sit near whenever he's on the ice.

With the resigning of Kimmo I would love to see Alt get a achance. Pair him with kimmo and let them have sheltered minutes at ES. Kimmo will get more minutes on PP. Maybe then you can move Grossman to open a slot

I don't know the other guys well enough. Is there an enforcer in that bunch? My fiance is convinced that as long as Snider lives we will always have an enforcer on the team. For next season that will continue to be Rosehill. Do you think Hextall moves away from it?

Boyle was pretty good in the playoffs. Would you take boyle or Rinaldo?

Exactly. There is a lot of parity in this draft and the difference of one or two internal ranking spots on the Flyers final list really could make the 17th overall pick play out a host of different ways depending on what the 16 teams ahead of them do. While that is always the case, there is so little consensus this year even on the top four to 10 spots that I fully expect numerous "surprises" in who gets picked where beyond Ekblad, Reinhart and Bennett.

What enforcer did the flyers have? Rinaldo? Yes Rosehill played springly. But almost every team has one of these guys. The Flyers have moved away from playing a tough guy on a nightly bases. If they improve the 4th line they can waive Rosehill and make Rinaldo the 13th forward.

You and I think alike. That was my first knee jerk answer as well.
Sadly he'd have to leave the bench to do it though...
